Apprentice Program

Picture

Green Windows accepts apprentices to learn and practice Peggy's facilitation techniques for their own social justice work. The first step is regular participation in her writing workshops. The second step is taking on Green Windows responsibilities including but not limited to facilitation. The third step is Amherst Writers and Artists certification. Apprentices are compensated for some, but not all, of their work.

(The apprenticeship program is currently on hiatus.)

Learning from Peggy is such a gift. I have grown tremendously from watching how she creates a space where all are welcome, to seeing how she unleashes each person's creative potential. But beyond her skill as facilitator, she has also been an amazing mentor who is just as invested in my growth as I am. With her support, I have felt confident in making this work my own.
