Bringing an artist activist lense to group facilitation and training
PictureGiving feedback on a poem. ATD Fourth World's National Gathering, Tennessee, 2015.

Peggy Simmons, Green Windows’ Founding Director, uses her twenty-plus years of facilitation experience to bring together any group(s) of people who may misunderstand each other because of cultural, educational, and/or lingual differences. She has a special love for collective creative writing but can also bring in other techniques such as Theatre of the Oppressed and Merging Knowledge to suit your group’s needs and challenges.

Peggy can also train others to use these techniques in their work.

Contact Peggy about your needs and questions and to ask for a price estimate.

Peggy Simmons' Experience
The feedback we get from participants is highly positive, across the board. Something extraordinary happens for participants—some of whom are not comfortable with reading and writing—as they experience the creative expression activities that Peggy proposes.  Participants often find a voice they didn’t know they had, and staff members pick up on skills through Peggy’s facilitation techniques that build our capacity as an organization. I highly recommend Green Windows, and Peggy Simmons, to any group aiming to empower, connect and uplift people.
